Is this a fit?
Small business owners who are 3+ months behind on bookkeeping — often after a DIY attempt, a bookkeeper who ghosted, rapid growth, or a life event. Common for e-commerce, contractors, agencies, restaurants, and real-estate investors. If you're dreading tax season or a lender asked for financials you don't have, this is for you.
Common questions.
How much does catch-up bookkeeping cost?+
Our catch-up rate starts at $200 per month of books rebuilt. Final quote depends on transaction volume, number of accounts, and how clean the starting point is — you'll get a flat total up front after a free scoping call.
How long does it take?+
Most catch-up jobs — even 12–24 months behind — finish in 2–4 weeks once we have access. Larger or messier rebuilds run 4–8 weeks. We prioritize IRS deadlines when they're looming.
How many months or years can you go back?+
There's no book too old or too messy. We regularly rebuild 24–36 months, and we've done longer. The IRS generally requires 3 years of records (7 in some cases) — we scope to what you actually need.
Do I need to be on QuickBooks?+
No. We work in QuickBooks Online and Xero. If you're on spreadsheets, a shoebox, or nothing at all, we'll set up the right platform as part of the engagement.
What do you need from me to start?+
View-only access to your bank, credit card, and merchant statements, plus any existing accounting file. That's usually enough. We handle the rest and only reach out with specific questions.
Can you also file the back taxes?+
Yes — most catch-up clients bundle prior-year tax preparation so bookkeeping and filings finish together. We'll quote both in one flat package.
